Davison & Co. offer a wide range of accountancy services bilingually (English & Polish) to a wide range of clients. Based out of Doncaster, we offer our services across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, including some even further afield.
Our history
After graduating from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the late 1990s, Nic Davison founded Davison & Co. In 2000, whilst working full time as a management accountant in the steel industry in Scunthorpe, Nic went on to finish his professional studies with the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts and became an associate of CIMA in 2003. Whilst working in various full time and contracted positions for several years and simultaneously running his small practice, Nic became a CIMA MiP in 2006. Shortly after, Davison & Co. was formally incorporated in 2007. In 2011, the practice took residence in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
Davison & Co. began to grow due to an increase in demand, and now totals 7 dedicated staff.
In 2015, the premises beside Davison & Co.’s residence was bought and the two were transformed into what is now known as Manor View Chambers. This was achieved in association with Rob Lee (FCMA CGMA), as Davison & Lee LLP which operate independently from the premises.
The team
Ba (Hons) FCMA CGMA, FAIA - Principal growing up in Toll Bar, Doncaster. Nic was educated at McAuley School, Doncaster and New College, Durham as well as the University of Newcastle upon Tyne where he graduated with an honours degree in Accountancy and Financial Analysis in 1995.
Nic Davison
Born in Szczecin, Poland. Monika joined Davison & Co Accountants Ltd in December 2010 as a personal assistant (PA) to Nic Davison before eventually becoming the practice manager in July 2014. Monika’s responsibilities lie in client relations, practice credit controller and is the HR manager.
Monika Krentowska
Originally from Ilawa, Poland, Milena Dunska joined Davison & Co. in 2013. She has since held a number of roles within the practice. In 2017 Milena attained a BSc (Hons) in Crimnology and Psychological Studies from the Open University whilst working full time and is currently our practice Payroll Supervisor. Any payroll queries? Milena can handle them swiftly.
Milena Dunska
Ola (for short) joined Davison & Co, in early 2014 as trainee accountant after completing a degree in Business and Finance from Sheffield Hallam University. She is a CIMA student. Ola's duties include the preparation and submission of limited company accounts and client liaison.
Aleksandra Charber
Born in Bialystok, Poland, Paulina moved to the UK in 2008, and was employed at Davison & Co in May 2015 as Administrative Assistant. On a daily basis Paulina is responsible for the maintenance of our client database, as well as client records' integrity with HMRC and Companies House.
Paulina Utko
Wioleta made the jump to Davison & Co. in early 2017, not long after leaving a different accounting practice in Doncaster. She has successfully completed her final Association of Accounting Technicians exams and in late 2017 she was accepted as a Member of the AAT and is now also a CIMA student.
Wioleta Bull
Kasia is Krakow born and graduated with an MSc in Economics from the University of Economics in Krakow. She worked in accountancy in Poland before moving to England in 2005. She joined the team at Davison & Co. in 2017 and is currently undertaking professional studies with the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Katarzyna Jarocka
Born in Oborniki, Poland, Ewelina joined our team in June 2017. She welcomes clients personally as well as being our dedicated receptionist, Ewelina also has multiple administrative duties.
